Rookie Derrick Rose is nervous heading into his first training camp with the Chicago Bulls.
"I'm worried a little bit," Rose said. "But I know with the guys on my team that everybody will help me. They just want to win."
"I don't know what's going to happen. But all I hear is it's going to be hard. At Memphis, our training camp was hard. If it's harder than that, that would be unbelievable."
Rose, the first overall pick in June's NBA Draft, also said that his right knee tendinitis is coming along well.
"It's fine, coming along nicely," Rose added. "I've been working on it and putting stimulation on it every night. I'm not worried about it at all for the season."

Ben Gordon was at hand for the Bulls' media day on Monday despite not having a contract, but he hopes that his situation can be resolved by mid-week, the Associated Press is reporting.
Gordon will not practice until after Wednesday, which is the deadline for him to sign the qualifying offer.
"I thought [a deal] would be done by now," said Gordon, Chicago's leading scorer last season with an 18.6-point average. "I'm disappointed that it lasted all the way into training camp."
"We're still seeing if there's a way to come to some resolution," GM John Paxson said. "As I said the other day, we have anticipated that Ben would sign the qualifying offer. ... One way or another, it's pretty obvious that Ben's going to be a part of this team this year."
Gordon said he would be on hand when two-a-day practice sessions begin Tuesday.
"I'll be here watching, but I'm going to wait [to practice] until my decision on Wednesday," he said.
