Damon Jones And Bucks Part Ways

Guard Damon Jones won’t be joining the Bucks after all, according to an Associated Press report on Monday.

The Bucks, who open training camp on Tuesday, said that by mutual decision Jones instead would work out on his own and attempt to catch on with another team. The Bucks said both parties would explore options to help the veteran reach that goal.

Kukoc: Bucks Need Team Focus

Toni Kukoc believes that his former club needs to play better team basketball in order to make the playoffs.

He played four seasons with the Bucks before retiring in 2006, and won three NBA championships with the Bulls early in his career.

"They did so many changes again," Kukoc said of Milwaukee. "They do the changes every year. As much as the some people (players) are not going to like it, it’s on the leaders to turn the team. When your leadership makes it a, 'OK, let’s play as a team,' then everybody else follows.

"To me, that’s always been a key," Kukoc added, "to any team sport."

Bucks Unveil Alternate Road Uniform

The Milwaukee Bucks have unveiled a new red alternate road uniform, revealed the team's official website.

The alternate road uniform, to be worn for the first time at the team’s home opener on Saturday, November 1, is inspired by the Bucks' 1971 NBA Championship season uniforms.

The alternate jersey will be worn as many as 15 times and utilize the same classic trim, waistband, and short taping as the title team but with a unique reversal of the original color scheme. All of the colors have been revised with Bucks' deep red serving as the body of the uniform, replacing forest green. In addition, the Bucks' new word mark and number font, introduced in 2006 as part of a new logo and uniform launch, are utilized.
